Elizabeth Stacom, Ph.D.
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with a passion for helping people move through anxiety, fear, and uncertainty toward greater clarity and confidence.
For over 12 years, I have been dedicated to the use of empirical behavioral treatment to improve the lives of individuals and families. Treatment is adapted to fit individual needs, values, and developmental stages. Above all, I aim to create a therapeutic space where people feel safe, heard, and empowered. Together, we’ll work to reduce distress, build confidence, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
My Approach
I believe that effective therapy is both collaborative and practical. My work is active and goal-oriented, focusing on helping clients understand the patterns that are keeping them stuck—and equipping them with strategies to make meaningful, lasting changes.
For children and teens, I involve parents and caregivers as needed, helping families work together to support growth and progress at home and at school. This includes:
Understanding anxiety-driven behaviors
Responding in ways that support recovery and reduce accommodation
Building structure and consistency at home
Developing practical strategies for emotional regulation
